Tanatopedia é uma enciclopédia ilustrada com verbetes sobre a morte, com ilustrações de Caroline Murta. O projeto gráfico foi pensado para que o livro fosse suntuoso, um objeto físico que não passa despercebido por seu tamanho ou seu tema. Sóbrio, elegante e sombrio – palavras que definem a estética usada para o projeto de capa e miolo.
[ENG] Tanatopedia is an illustrated encyclopedia with entries on death, with illustrations by Caroline Murta. The graphic project was designed to make the book sumptuous, a physical object that does not go unnoticed due to its size or theme. Sober, elegant and dark – words that define the aesthetic used for the design of the cover and inside.
O projeto gráfico inclui capitulares ilustradas e verbetes organizados em colunas. Os terminais bruxuleantes da VVS Nobleman, família tipografia escolhida especialmente para os verbetes, remetem ao mistério que o livro evoca.
[ENG] The design includes illustrated drop caps and column-organized entries. The flickering terminals of the VVS Nobleman, a typography family chosen especially for the entries, refer to the mystery that the book evokes.
